Mei Seong, Vernny, Pei Xia, Lynna and I went to Pantai Saujana, Port Dickson to clean the beach area. We got the permission from Majlis Perbandaran Port Dickson (MPPD) to perform this service.
We reached the beach in the afternoon. Although it is a tourist spot, but the cleanliness was not maintained. The beach was still dirty. We started to clean the beach area by picking up rubbish scattered everywhere. We worked from 12.00p.m. to 4.00p.m..

We found out cleaning the beach is not an effective way to keep the environment clean. Therefore, 5 of us agreed to go back the beach on 15th September 2012. We made a few bookmarks to be distributed to the public at the beach area and we aimed to raise the awareness among public regarding the importance of keep the environment clean. We approached some tourists and citizens at the beach and explained to them on the importance of maintaining our environment.
